Shedding Our Silence  (S.O.S) is having a Fashion Show  November  3, 2012 to benefit our group and also The Helping  Hands Ministry of Calvary Chapel Worship Center.

The Helping Hands Ministry  has a food pantry with clothing and household items for the needy. We are in desperate need of gowns, shoes, jewelry, boots whatever you are able to donate for this very worthy cause.

If you are local to us we can pick it up. Ask your neighbors, friends and families if they can help us out. Get involved in helping out others, it’s a rewarding ministry. Please contact me  or Pastor Estell Keshock  via this blog  or Facebook.com .

Thursday night church service at CCWC was really filled with excitement. We had high School graduation ceremony and Spectrum Ministry graduation ceremony during service. Everyone was smiling as they walked up, received either a gift bag for the High school students or a diploma/certificate for the ministry students. They all have much to be be proud of. Everyone going out into the world filled with the Word of the Lord.

Praise and Worship was awesome as usual. If you are interested in being educated and filled more with the Word of God then stop by our church. It’s on Troublecreek Rd in New Port Richey. Or just follow the link in the link section and give them a call.

Today was such a wonderful day, we had our Tea Party. S.O.S ( Shedding Our Silence) womens group and Daily Transformation Church in New Port Richey, gathered together to teach and socialize on “The Beauty Within”. Pastor Estell  taught on the comparisons between our growth in Christ and the growth and release of a caterpillar from larvae, cocoon and finally a  butterfly of many  beautiful colors. We had good teaching,  Praise and Worship, music, fellowship with many sisters in Christ. The group effort in setting up the night before and the final arrangements prior to the Tea are depicted in the many pictures. It’s so nice when everyone can work together for a common goal. The Tea was a big success thanks to all who assisted, participated and collaborated. The table settings were nicely done with just the right feminine touch. The was a large variety of teas to choose from and a drawing for lovely baskets.

A big thank you to Pastor Freddy, Todd, Marisol, and the parishioners  from the Daily Transformation Church (see their Facebook  link in link section). Thanks also to all the lovely ladies that came to our Tea Party.

I hope we get to see you at our meetings on Wednesdays at Pastor Estells’ home from 7pm – 9pm. We also have a few more functions coming up, that you might be interested in being a part of.

After all being a good servant is one of the things Jesus wants of us. We need to be more obedient and not disobedient to the Lord. If you don’t already serve somewhere please consider doing so. We need to be part of the bigger picture and serving the Lord is certainly a good way to do just that.

Today is Mother’s Day. A day in which we honor our mothers. A special day for all mothers too. It’s kind of like having or getting validation for a job well done. The atmosphere at church this morning was a bit exciting. Every year the Missions Department takes free pictures of Mom’s and posts them in an album in the church website. All a person has  to do is get the picture from the church album and email it to their families. It’s all for a donation to the Missions department. The do all sorts of fund raising to send people that are called by God out into the Missions field. So if you have the calling, get in touch with them through the website http://www.ccwc.org or on Facebook, under the Calvary Chapel Worship Center in New Port Richey, Florida. See the link section of my blog.

I volunteer for the first service and Pastor Gail spoke. She had some powerful messages to tell us.. If you’re interested see 1John:1-3 in your Bible, as an example.  The message was about walking the talk, not just talking the walk. Jesus wants us to be as He is. To live as He did. He loves so much, He intercedes for us with the Father. I always wonder if I’m doing enough to please Him. I can probably do more. I want to please Him, I need to start by getting right with myself. A better attitude and outlook. God’s message really hit home with me today.

Our head pastor is Pastor Bill Strayer . He has a way of preaching and teaching that really touches you. Today I had multiple Holy Spirit goosebumps. It’s a good thing, a God thing. I feel blessed to have been led to this church to receive teachings and lessons I needed to learn. I also had to make myself available to be there to learn  them. Volunteering, taking classes and joining small groups is so important. Reaching out works both ways. I reach for Him, He reaches for me. Thank you Jesus, I needed that.

After church I went home changed my attitude, and my clothes went to get a well deserved pedicure, bought myself some flowers, and treats, took myself out for my favorite lunch, and then went to see an action movie. I felt wonderful when I returned home. I felt like I was kicking dirt on the devil. Oh that felt good. Thanks Lord for such a wonderful day.

Has anyone else done something to change their attitude in a positive way? Let me know, comment on my blog. Let’s get something started.

Tonight I stopped by to watch a little bit of softball at the field on Little Rd, New Port Richey. I didn’t take any pictures because of the chain link fencing in front of us, maybe next time. Calvary Chapel teams were playing against each other. It was pretty easy to cheer for the right team, just say “Go Calvary Chapel!” A win- win situation, a nice little family outing. Normal healthy stuff, comfortable clothes, no drinking, cursing, etc.

While I was there I met other people from church and made a new friend. Reverend Vera, was actually in a previous post of  The Network Ministries on this past Monday night. She and Pastor Estell were at the front desk registering the participants for the event. They are  the two smiling woman in the very first picture in the slideshow. Rev. Vera informed me that she also has a ministry,  It’s called “Tiny Rose Bushes Healing Ministry”. The Facebook link is https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tiny-Rose-Bushes-Healing-Ministry/231900153500191 So please check her page out on Facebook.com.Please “like” her page and send her a message if you want to.

It’s really nice to see this blog just grow and go in His name. Reaching out and linking to others is awesome. It makes the world a smaller place, a friendlier place with more and more people of God joining together in His name.

Thank you, Jesus.

What a blessing to be at this event tonight. From what I understand it’s an annual event where people that are called to serve God are Commissioned and Ordained into the Ministry. Wow, the Anointing of the Holy Spirit was surely there tonight. Praise and Worship prior to the formality of the service was just incredible. Really moving, brought tears to my eyes. Powerful stuff. The speakers Pastor Gail, Pastor Marcus, Pastor Estell and Pastor Johann also had an awesome message to relay. You just had to be there to see what I mean and feel it for yourself. Afterwards there was  a meet and greet upstairs with food and beverages. Nicely done. Thanks Lori for asking me to go. Thanks Tina for reaffirming that I needed to be there with you also.

It was so moving to see the blessings and prayers bestowed upon the new people that were commissioned and ordained by the seasoned pastors and ministers. The kindnesses and gentle touch was such a nice thing to be witness too. Thanks Jesus for making sure I did not miss seeing this special event. So if you are called to serve the Lord, stop by our church, Calvary Chapel Worship Center, on Troublecreek, in New Port Richey, Florida and tell them you are inspired and required by the Lord to be there. They will tell you what classes you need to do after that.

Remember it’s all about HIM.

What an awesome morning at church. Not only was it our monthly “Communion and Cans” going on we also had a guest. Dara Maclean,  what an awesome woman of Christ.  Anointed in the Spirit, a kind and gentle person with the most awesome voice. Not just the sounds but her words. They are our words too. All her songs filled with divine motivations. For me, it just made my day. I also was able to get a picture with her. Now that’s a thrill for me. During service  it was so Spirit filling, goose bumps after goose bumps. I was able to speak with her briefly during our picture taking and told her what a fan I am of her and her music. I play her album over and over in my vehicle and my home. I let her know I have her  youtube videos posted on my blog and I listen to her on JoyFm Radio. She asked me to put it on her Facebook page! Woo Hoo again! So please check out the pictures of her (and Kirk) at CCWC.  And check out our wonderful church too. Then go to http://www.Daramaclean.com  to visit her site and also say “Hi”  and be sure to “Like”  her on her Facebook page. Thanks Dara for coming to our church.
